About the Role

Gifft Express Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.
  • Coordinate Logistics: Organize and manage the operational logistics of our organization, including the coordination of activities with other departments and work units.
  • Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and train staff members, as well as conduct performance reviews to ensure the highest level of performance.
  • Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our transportation services are running efficiently.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
