About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks, optimize routes, and streamline logistics operations to meet customer demands.

Coordinate Logistics Activities

Organize tasks to accomplish work, co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and ensure seamless communication among team members.

Manage Reports and Data

Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance productivity and product quality.

Maintain Equipment and Facilities

Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arrange for maintenance and repair work, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Train and Develop Staff

Train workers in duties and policies, arrange training for staff, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality performance.

Procure Materials and Supplies

Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics operations.
