Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising logistics operations, ensuring smooth transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Prepare Reports: Submit regular reports to management on logistics operations, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
  • Ensure Equipment Maintenance: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide technical guidance and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
