About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at KUTHALA GROUP INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistics of our transportation and freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on our vehicles and equipment.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including shippers and receivers.
  • Training and Development: Arrange training for staff and oversee their development to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check and credit check.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
Working Conditions

  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
