We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seaside Grill Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand
- Store dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas
- Prepare and package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service
- Stock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies and ingredients
- Receive and unpack deliveries, and store supplies in designated areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
