We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seaside Grill Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand.
- Store dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
- Prepare and package take-out food, portion and wrap foods as needed.
- Stock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies.
- Receive and unpack deliveries, storing supplies in designated areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40-50 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with occasional overtime required.
