Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seaside Grill Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand
- Store dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas
- Prepare and package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive and store supplies
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Reliability and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Availability to work overtime as required
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
