Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seaside Grill Restaurant.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand.
- Store dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
- Prepare and package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods and attention to detail are essential.
- Reliability and teamwork are key to success in this role.
- Will train on the job.
- 40 to 50 hours per week.
- Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
- Standing for extended periods and attention to detail are essential.
- English or French.
