About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2653905 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our customers.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Kitchen Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Staff Management

Recruit, hire, and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.

Customer Service

Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
  • Education

A college diploma or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, cooking, and presentation.

Leadership

Proven leadership skills, including the ability to supervise and train a team of staff.

Communication

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.

Working Conditions
  • Work Environment

A fast-paced kitchen environment with a high volume of customers.

Physical Demands

The ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
