About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2653905 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our customers.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our menu requirements.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure that we have the right people with the right skills to meet our business needs.

Requirements
  • Education

A college diploma or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a similar environment.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of kitchen staff.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
