Civil Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Superintendent to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of civil and infrastructure projects.
About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per year. If you have a strong background in project management and leadership, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Execution: Plan, direct, and supervise workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget;
- Site Coordination: Coordinate assigned work with in-house trades, subcontractors, and company departments to ensure seamless project delivery;
- Safety Management: Conduct project safety meetings and enforce compliance with project safety program requirements;
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coach direct reports to achieve project goals and objectives;
- Communication: Liaise between field engineering, estimating, and trade to ensure construction meets plans and specifications;
- Mobilization and Setup: Coordinate and execute mobilization efforts and job site setup to ensure efficient project commencement;
- Problem Resolution: Resolve construction problems and constructability challenges to minimize project delays;
- Materials and Equipment Management: Ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule;
- Scheduling and Cost Estimation: Assist with scheduling and cost estimate preparation to ensure project viability;
- 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Field Superintendent in the earthworks / utilities / foundations / heavy-civil construction industry;
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrates effective leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively;
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Software to manage administrative tasks;
- Driver's License: Valid Driver License to commute to project sites;
- Project Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret project schedules, engineering plans, and specifications;
- Effective Communication: Effective communication skills both written and verbal to interact with stakeholders;
