Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Site Coordinator with expertise in civil construction to lead our project teams across the Lower Mainland region.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our team, you will oversee the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Manage daily activities, coordinate with crew members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Review project plans, blueprints, and drawings to identify potential risks and develop strategies for safe and efficient execution.
  2. Coordinate logistics, materials, and resources to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
  3. Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to crew members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  4. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including site superintendents, project managers, and general superintendent, to resolve issues and address concerns.
  5. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and Conwest Contracting Ltd.'s safety protocols.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a foreperson or lead hand in civil construction, with a strong understanding of operations, grading, and heavy equipment management.
  • Proficient communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct crews effectively.
  • Familiarity with HCSS, Heavy Job, or other field data capture systems is an asset.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $42.60 - $48.16 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
