At Moving2Canada, we're seeking a seasoned Civil Project Superintendent to join our civil and infrastructure team in Vancouver or Toronto. With an estimated salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, this full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to drive project excellence and productivity.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project. You will apply project-specific safety standards to promote HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.

We're looking for a proactive individual who can determine project materials are supplied and in compliance with our quality program. Your hands-on approach to leading, mentoring, and walking with our team on site will support the project team in achieving project milestones.

The successful candidate will develop and drive the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team to ensure completion dates and milestones are met. You will put your problem-solving skills to work and recommend innovative methods to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Collaboration with the Project Manager is essential for all construction site start-up details, including scheduling. You will stay on top of workforce training for the site team, ensuring all training is up-to-date.

Actively receiving delivered materials on site according to policy is crucial, as is ensuring the project is built according to the approved plan, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes.

You will maintain accurate construction site inventory and work with our Logistics team to ensure accuracy. Keeping construction site documentation organized is vital for efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years' experience in the civil and infrastructure construction industry, with a proven track record of project success and team collaboration.

A strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality, and cost control is essential. We're looking for someone with a passion to develop, maintain, and execute the project schedule.

Good computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software are necessary for this role.
