We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to provide administrative support to our staff scheduling team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing payroll functions, assisting with staffing planning, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the staff scheduling team, including payroll functions and staffing planning.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including master rotations and vacation planning.
- Coordinate with managers to administer vacation planning and ensure compliance with collective agreements.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases as required.
- Assist with the effective planning and management of staffing levels and Human Resources.
Requirements
- Three (3) years' experience in staff scheduling, vacation planning, and payroll reporting.
- Grade XII or recognized equivalent.
- Successful completion of a recognized Business Administration certificate/diploma program.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to set up spreadsheets and databases as required.
- Knowledge of SAP and ESP an asset.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under stressful situations and meet strict deadlines.
