End Homelessness Winnipeg is a dynamic organization dedicated to addressing the complex issue of homelessness in Winnipeg. We are seeking an experienced Housing Support Program Manager to join our team.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in social sciences, human ecology, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in program management. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including community partners, outreach teams, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the revision and research of the current Kíkinanaw Óma strategy to ensure alignment with EHW's Strategic Plan and the Reaching Home: Community Plan.
  • Analyze data from surveys, interviews, and sharing circles to inform program development and improvement.
  • Facilitate internal and external committee meetings to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Engage with community partners and outreach teams to build relationships and promote program services.
  • Support organizations with extreme weather and emergency response-related issues, including completing Extreme Weather Program claims and providing technical assistance.
  • Monitor Extreme Weather alerts and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Compile and disseminate statistical and other data to inform program evaluation and reporting.
  • Assist with planning, promotion, and implementation of events, such as Gizhe Waa Ti-Sii Win Service Delivery Expo.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in social sciences, human ecology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in program management, preferably in the non-profit sector and with Indigenous organizations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of community issues related to homelessness and colonization, as well as traditional and alternative engagement methods.
  • A valid Manitoba driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
