**About the Role:**


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Program Coordinator to join our team at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts.


The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various programs, ensuring exceptional customer service, and overseeing administrative tasks. This is a 25-hour per week position with a competitive hourly rate of $25.00.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate academic programs, including scheduling, registration, and communication with students and faculty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student information, attendance, and program details.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Assist with special events, workshops, and concerts as needed.

Requirements:



  • Post-secondary education in arts administration, office administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience with database management and record-keeping an asset.
  • Availability to work Monday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexible hours and occasional evening and weekend work required.
