Job Summary

The Manitoba Government is seeking a qualified Disabilities Program Manager to join its team in Winnipeg Services. As a key member of the management team, this individual will be responsible for providing leadership and support in the delivery of programs within the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement policies related to program delivery
  • Provide integrated case management and program recommendations
  • Develop and implement operational plans
  • Manage financial resources and administration
  • Supervise a team of service delivery staff
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and staff

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in social sciences (Bachelor of Social Work preferred)
  • Leadership experience in a social service delivery environment
  • Experience in human resource management and policy interpretation
  • Case management experience in programs such as Employment and Income Assistance or Children's disABILITY Services

Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to work overtime as required
