Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Senior Clinical Lead for Substance Use Recovery to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of a designated nursing unit, supervising staff, and acting as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinates patient/resident care activities, including supervising staff, monitoring work assignments, and orienting new employees.
- Monitors patient/resident acuity and flow to ensure staffing levels meet needs.
- Serves as a clinical resource, demonstrating procedures, answering questions, and troubleshooting concerns.
- Participates in rounds/clinics, collaborating with staff to assess patient/resident problems and needs.
- Acts as a patient/resident advocate, communicating concerns to other team members and intervening when necessary.
- Performs direct nursing care, assuming responsibility for a patient/resident assignment.
- Degree in Nursing (RN) with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Three years of recent related experience in clinical specialty, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to supervise, communicate effectively, and apply decision-making and analytical skills.
- Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
- A competitive salary range of $49.20-$63.47 per hour, depending on experience.
