Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Outreach Specialist - Addiction Recovery to join our team. This role will provide outreach services to individuals with substance use disorders, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to support clients' wellness journeys.

Duties:

  • Provide harm reduction education and group facilitation across the transtheoretical model of change
  • Support client goals, including detox/substance use stabilization, treatment, and recovery programming
  • Liaise and consult with internal/external physicians, governmental, and community social service agencies to facilitate clients' wellness journeys
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other community resources

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Master's degree in a health science discipline from a recognized program
  • Two years' recent experience practicing in community-based or Indigenous-led organizations working with individuals with substance use and mental health presentations
  • Valid B.C. driver's license and local area travel requiring the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage reimbursement will be paid

Salary: CAD $45.00 - $56.50 per hour (estimated based on job location and industry standards)
