Alberta Precision Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Hematopathologist to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the diagnosis of diseases and physiological disorders.
The successful candidate will have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry, as well as pathology residency programs and hematological pathology residency programs. They will be responsible for conducting microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens, preparing research papers for publication and presentation, and supervising laboratory activities.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Hematopathologist will also be required to diagnose diseases and physiological disorders, conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and train resident pathologists and morgue attendants. They will also supervise junior resident pathologists and morgue attendants, and help pathologists with their tasks.
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, a comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
