Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the packaging, distributing, shipping medications, and managing inventory levels under the supervision of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Packaging and distributing medications
  • Shipping medications
  • Managing and replenishing medication inventory levels
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Graduation from a recognized pharmacy assistant program
  • One year of retail pharmacy experience
  • One year of inpatient or outpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Six months of automated dispensing cabinet experience
  • Experience with Windows-based computer applications
