Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager - Mechanical will be responsible for leading complex projects within the Maintenance & Construction Division. This role will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage capital projects with a value up to 100M CAD
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ensure compliance with FLINT's core values and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance project management skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with a focus on mechanical engineering projects
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
