Senior Facilities Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Engineer to lead and manage technical support to our operations and maintenance groups. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing existing facilities, managing the Management of Change process, and overseeing the execution of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical support to operations and maintenance groups
  • Optimize existing facilities and manage the Management of Change process
  • Oversee the execution of capital projects and participate in budgeting and project identification
  • Build and maintain relationships with Calgary-based facilities engineers and field-based development teams
  • Strategically plan and evaluate facility/pipeline requirements for current and future capital development
  • Ensure and oversee the implementation of best engineering practices and safe work practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and registration as a P.Eng.
  • Advanced experience in oil and gas field operations and maintenance
  • Proven expertise in capital project planning, budgeting, and execution
  • Leadership and mentorship experience with proven ability to foster teamwork and motivate colleagues
  • In-depth knowledge of all regulatory requirements in the jurisdiction
