Toronto, Ontario, Canada Ontario Medical Association Full time

We are seeking a skilled Executive Assistant to support the implementation of our plans to influence key decision-makers in government and stakeholders through effective advocacy. The role involves coordinating meetings between our organization and MPPs, political staff, ministry officials, and other stakeholders. You will also provide general administrative support, including maintaining meeting calendars, arranging travel schedules, and developing briefing notes and presentations.

As an Executive Assistant, you will work closely with our team to execute our government relations and advocacy strategy, which includes MPP and political party outreach, drafting newsletters, organizing events, and monitoring legislation and policy announcements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with our team and help shape the strategic direction of the Ontario Medical Association, its members, and the healthcare system. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a generous pension plan, group benefits package, and opportunities for professional development.

The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment, and this role will require working a minimum number of days in our Toronto office. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent written skills and a passion for public affairs, we encourage you to apply.
