About Our OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our office, you will work under general supervision to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You will have a strong understanding of procedures, rules, acts, and regulations that pertain to our department.
Primary Accountabilities- Support the four IPG Directors by scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing purchasing for the four divisions.
- Prepare reports from statistical and financial information to ensure management receives accurate and timely information.
- Receive, classify, reconcile, consolidate, and/or summarize documents and information.
- Maintain a filing system of original source documents for audit and other legal or organizational requirements.
- Deal with internal clients or external sources to resolve non-routine queries and problems.
- Prepare letters, memoranda, and reports for approval, while following up on pending issues.
- Deal with the more technical aspects of work or troubleshoot work issues handled by junior clerks.
- Coordinate with support services and assign short-term tasks to others when necessary.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with at least grade 11 and 4 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent keyboarding skills with a high degree of accuracy.
