About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst with a strong background in General Ledger (GL) and accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce and be adept at managing payroll accounting and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of payroll transactions in Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Ensure accurate GL postings related to payroll and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
  • Analyze payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate reports for management review, including variance analysis and payroll summaries.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to integrate payroll data with financial systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce and knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the manufacturing sector preferred.
