Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at FUCHS Lubricants Co. in Canada.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for the FUCHS Canada blending facilities, taking into consideration factors such as customer demand, production capacity, and resource availability.
  • Collaboration with 3rd Party Sites: Collaborate with 3rd party site operations to coordinate production, maintain inventory, and facilitate process improvement initiatives with Toll Blenders.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and trends, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts, incorporating market trends and customer feedback into production plans.
  • Order Coordination: Coordinate with toll blenders, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, providing updates on production schedules, inventory levels, and potential risks or delays.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and software to assess production and inventory performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Capacity Planning: Assess production capacity and constraints, working with manufacturing teams to optimize efficiency and throughput.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or another related supply chain field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in a production planning, inventory, or supply chain role is required.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills is necessary.
  • Teamwork: Team and people-oriented, professional, and displays a 'can-do' attitude.
  • ERP Experience: ERP planning experience is required, SAP is preferred.
