This role coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory, ensuring highest quality at best value. We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our procurement supply chain initiatives and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to ensure optimal cost savings.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  3. Analyze data to inform procurement decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
  4. Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  5. Provide expert advice on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • APICS Certification or equivalent experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of success in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles, with a focus on cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
