About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation Strategist to lead our supply chain optimization initiatives at ATS Industrial Automation. This role is critical in driving process improvements, streamlining operations, and ensuring a robust and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Supply Chain Strategies: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to analyze current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
- Benchmark Best Practices: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices within the industry, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Lead Improvement Initiatives: Drive ever-improving results by leveraging business model tools, consulting skills, and change management processes.
- Establish Relationships: Foster relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to ensure timely access to new technologies and innovative solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven Track Record: A proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or service environment.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
- Certification in Continuous Improvement: Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Innovative Thinker: An innovative thinker with a passion for excellence and a commitment to lifelong learning.
