The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the payroll department, this individual will be responsible for preparing all necessary payroll paperwork, reviewing time and attendance systems, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll paperwork, including hourly payroll
  • Review daily time and attendance for all hourly staff, identifying discrepancies and following up with managers
  • Balance hours from time management systems into payroll systems on a weekly basis
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions

This role requires a high degree of analytical ability, confidentiality, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a payroll or HR department, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in automated time management and payroll systems.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
