Job Summary

The Pharmacy Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the daily receiving, shipping, and inventory control aspects of the pharmacy are maintained. This includes receiving and verifying all inbound shipments, quarantining of product, managing inventory movement, and proper storage of product.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency and previous experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in English, able to lift and move up to 50 lbs, and able to work in a cold environment daily.

The Pharmacy Shipping Coordinator will also be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, utilizing various carrier's software, and acting as the final check to ensure the right prescription reaches the right destination.

This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail, work well under pressure in time-sensitive situations, and shift priorities quickly to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and verifying all inbound shipments
  • Quarantining of product
  • Managing inventory movement
  • Proper storage of product
  • Preparing shipping documentation
  • Utilizing various carrier's software
  • Acting as the final check to ensure the right prescription reaches the right destination

Requirements:
