Job Title: IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties

Island Health is seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the role of IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of clinical standards and order sets for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and order sets for our EHR system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that our EHR system meets the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Lead the development of clinical workflows and processes to support the implementation of our EHR system.
  • Work with our informatics, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure successful development and adoption of clinical order sets.
  • Participate in testing events to ensure that our EHR system meets the clinical workflow requirements and best practice requirements.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of our EHR system and related systems through participating in lessons learned, provider experience feedback, benefits evaluation, and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a medical subspecialty.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with clinical order set development and implementation.
