Job Title: IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties

Island Health is seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the role of IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of clinical standards and guidelines for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and guidelines for the EHR system
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that clinical workflows are optimized and efficient
  • Lead the development of order sets and clinical assessment and documentation tools
  • Work with the IHealth Initiative to ensure that clinical best practices are incorporated into the EHR system
  • Participate in testing and validation of the EHR system to ensure that it meets clinical workflow requirements
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the EHR system and provide feedback to improve its functionality
Requirements:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with clinical information systems and electronic health records
