Job Title: IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties

Island Health is seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the role of IHealth Division Lead – Medical Subspecialties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of clinical standards and order sets for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and order sets for the EHR system
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that clinical best practices are incorporated into the EHR system
  • Lead the development of condition-specific documentation and specialty-specific requirements
  • Ensure that the EHR system meets clinical workflow requirements and best practice standards
  • Participate in testing events to ensure the EHR system meets clinical requirements
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the EHR system and related systems
Requirements:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a medical subspecialty
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with healthcare informatics and clinical order set development
