At Homewood Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our clients and patients. As an Administrative Assistant to our VP Patient Services, you'll play a vital role in supporting our team's efforts to provide seamless services and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, and activities to ensure smooth operations
  • Support position management, scheduling, and payroll standardization
  • Provide administrative support for special projects and presentations
  • Coordinate logistics and administrative details for day-to-day operations and projects
  • Organize and prioritize incoming materials, emails, and requests
  • Maintain attendance records and ensure timely completion of expense accounts
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reports, and develop forms, documentation, and other materials
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity
  • 3 years' experience scheduling and staffing, with knowledge of collective agreement provisions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration (strongly preferred)
  • Office Administration Certificate or Health Information Management Professional (preferred)
  • Certification with Canadian College of Health Records Administrators (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to anticipate business needs and priorities
  • Excellent judgment, problem resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Above-average knowledge and skills related to privacy, confidentiality, and security of business and personal health information
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software
