We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Coordinator to join our team at Professional Book Fairs. This is a permanent full-time position working 30 hours per week.

Job Overview

The Support Coordinator will provide administrative support to our events team, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution of our book fairs. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate arrangements for seminars, conferences, and other events related to book fairs
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with authors, publishers, and other stakeholders
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages to relevant team members
  • Manage email correspondence, data entry, and other administrative tasks
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations for team members
  • Type and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 7 months of experience in an administrative support role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office
