Program Manager for Cancer Support

We are seeking a highly skilled Centre Manager to join our team at Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.
About the RoleThe Centre Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our cancer support programs operating at Wellspring Westerkirk House in Toronto. This includes managing local volunteer resources, providing front-line support for individuals and families affected by cancer, and building stakeholder relationships with professionals working in hospitals and community groups.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the delivery of programming at Wellspring Westerkirk House, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality services.
- Recruit, train, schedule, mentor, and recognize volunteers to optimize their contribution to our mission.
- Provide exceptional customer service, program referrals, and coordination of services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and support.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields, including motivating and supervising volunteers, and providing support to people living with health concerns.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
- High organizational capability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure efficient operations.
- Understanding of the impact of cancer on individuals and families, and ability to provide empathetic support.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with proficiency in tasks associated with program administration.

Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
