About Alberta Ltd: We are a leading food services company seeking an experienced Executive Chef Leader to oversee our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, training staff, ordering supplies, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and managing kitchen operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Kitchen Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to prevent waste and optimize stock levels.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including planning, organization, and control.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Schedule: The position requires a permanent position with a standard working week of 40 hours.
- Language Proficiency: English language proficiency is essential for effective communication with staff and customers.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum based on industry standards and location. This salary reflects the complexity and demands of the role, requiring a skilled and experienced executive chef leader to manage our kitchen operations.
