Reservations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at The Bruce Hotel. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, establishing work schedules and procedures, and performing same duties as workers supervised.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Work Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise staff and perform same duties as workers supervised to ensure quality service.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Client Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Staff Development: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high-performing team.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
