Eastern Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Leader to join our team at DMC Recruitment. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals within the Eastern region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals within the Eastern region, including Ontario, Quebec, and The Maritimes.
- Lead a team of Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives to provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
- Provide technical knowledge to Account Executives and operations staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, contractors, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Specify core brands with the architect and design community to achieve design-forward lighting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and purchasing to align strategies and drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Open and develop new territories in Ontario, Quebec, and The Maritimes.
- Travel within the region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Architecture, or Engineering. MBA is an asset.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B sales, with approximately 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within the lighting industry or related sector.
- Strong understanding of lighting products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to drive sales growth.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable plans.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Google Suite is an asset.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
