Job Title: File Maintenance Clerk

At Federated Co-operatives Limited, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a File Maintenance Clerk. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer start and end of day, end of period, end of month, and end of year procedures
  • Complete end of day processing, including balancing cash, keying into accounting systems, verifying, reconciling, and preparing bank deposits
  • Maintain customer charge accounts daily and process associated gateway transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Be responsible for inventory control, including asset protection, ordering and receiving, price changes, and daily reconciliation reports
  • Input pricing for upcoming sales, perform price verification processes, and maintain all signage on the floor
  • Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of a computerized workstation
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
  • Business diploma, customer service experience, and previous file maintenance experience considered assets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Honest and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computerized accounting and point of sale systems
  • Meticulous, thorough, and precise in work
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
