Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at 9425-7698 Quebec Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Teamwork: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve kitchen goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the position.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
