Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations, including requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, planning menus and estimating food requirements, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, including training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Required certifications for the position.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
