Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at 9425-7698 Quebec Inc. as a key member of our culinary staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations, including planning menus, estimating food requirements, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, including training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory and Record-Keeping: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the position.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
