Senior Paid Media Specialist

Directive Consulting is a leading performance marketing agency specializing in SaaS and Tech companies. We utilize a proprietary marketing methodology, Customer Generation, which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. Our comprehensive digital marketing strategies enable clients to achieve their SQL targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities- Task Management and Ownership - Paid Specialists must efficiently manage assigned tasks with visibility for key stakeholders in Asana, ensuring timely completion and adherence to instructions provided by Strategists while maintaining best practices.
- Recurring Account Optimizations and Routine Hygiene Tasks - including SQRs, Routine budget pacing checks, Placement Audits, Negative Keyword Management, Ad Extension Management, Supporting with Keyword Research, Analyze campaign performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, to make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates.
- Production of Campaign Builds in the UI and Editor Tools - (Strategy is led by Strategists, with Specialists owning the development of PPC and social advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting) including: Ad copy ideation and optimization with quality control from the Strategist, Physically launch paid media campaigns (after development and thorough QA with Strategist), Assisting with client comms, Taking notes during appropriate calls, Populating action items in Asana and sharing with the wider group for completion, Supporting with Agenda Prep, Assisting with reporting data pulls, table, and chart creation, Account coverage during PTO.
- Proactive Communication - Effectively communicate with the Strategist team, reporting any challenges or requirements during the execution of task assignments in order to fulfill the tasks successfully.
- Time Management - For specialists, no two weeks are the same. A successful specialist will know how to manage a high-volume workload and how to compensate for low-volume workloads.
- Task Acceptance Rate: 95% - As measured by whether completed work was presented to a client.
- Timeliness of Execution: 100%
- CSAT scores > 4.2 for their pod.
- A fundamental grasp of paid media concepts, such as budgeting, bidding methods, match types, conversion actions, audience creation, ad creation, geo-targeting, etc.
- Strong familiarity with major ad platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn, with more platform experience a bonus.
- BASIC analytical aptitude: What performed, why, and what could we do about it? Plus the ability to organize all of these into digestible forms.
- Proven organizational, project, and time management skills.
- An enthusiasm to grow as a paid media professional and a digital marketer broadly.

As a remote-first company, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.
This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, must have reliable internet access, and a professional background.
