Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, including cash flow and accounts payable/receivable
  • Manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting, including SOX compliance
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems
  • Skilled with ERP systems, including SAP R/4
  • Comprehensive knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting
  • Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
  • Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials preferred
  • 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience
