Job Title: Senior Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team at Express Welding Supplies Inc.

Job Summary

The Senior Accounting Clerk will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journal entries, and trial balances.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including preparing bank reconciliations, reviewing financial statements, and calculating payroll.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in spreadsheet software, including MS Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, accurate, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, quick learner, versatility, and resourcefulness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
