About the Opportunity

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supervising accounting employees and ensuring the completion of all internal and external financial reporting for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Preparation and analysis of monthly income statements and balance sheets for multiple entities
  • Payroll Management: Payroll management for staff and contract employees across the Ontario region
  • Process Improvement: Prepare, review, and improve internal processes and procedures
  • Account Reconciliations: Prepare account reconciliations and month-end
  • Credit Management: Oversee accounts receivable and credit management
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable data entry and troubleshoot issues
  • Financial Transactions: Manage cheque, ACH, and wire transfer preparation
  • Tax Filings: Prepare provincial and state tax filings
Requirements:
  • CPA Designation: CPA designation is required
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Technical Skills: Superior Microsoft Office skills with advanced experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Software Experience: Experience with Powerbroker and/or any other insurance-specific software is considered a huge asset
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel and a high volume of transactions
  • Independence: Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment
What We Offer:
  • Salary: $85,000-$110,000
