Restaurant Operations Manager Trainee

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Restaurant Operations Manager Trainee to join their team in Markham, ON. As a Restaurant Operations Manager Trainee, you will assist the General Manager in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant, ensuring delivery of guest satisfaction and desired restaurant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Restaurant Operations: Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Motivates and supports team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Supports maintenance of restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others.
- Coaching and Feedback: Provides coaching and feedback to restaurant team.
- Preventive Maintenance: Supports the RGM to ensure that preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed by company standards.
- Marketing and Cash Control: Supports the RGM to implement marketing strategies and follows cash control/security procedures.
- Inventory and Labor Management: Assists in managing inventory and labor and applies financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.
- Compliance and Recruitment: Ensures compliance with government regulations, Redberry policies, employment laws, food safety, security, and operations. Supports in recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining effective team talent.
- Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
- Certification: Complete all internal certification programs.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
