Job Title: Business Development Sales Director

At BDP International, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving regional sales growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in regionalizing sales efforts by increasing local client visits
  • Proven success building new strategic relationships by developing sales plans and business strategies
  • Identify and develop new targets to develop regional and global business volume in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions
  • Follow-up and maintaining the current customers with the goal of increasing revenue and freight volume
  • Engage with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within assigned region
  • Meet and exceed designated KPIs regarding client visits via maintenance via the Customer Retention Management system
  • Engage in market research with sales support teams with the goal of increasing individual sales pipeline
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in global sales preferred
  • Knowledge about Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company
